WE SUPPORT THE GERMAN "TAFELN"
In our company everything revolves around people and their jobs. For this reason, social engagement is extremely significant for division one and its employees. We are doing well, therefore we would like to actively take on the responsibility for the community and pass on our fortune. We have engaged ourselves in social initiatives and projects and would like to continually build on this support.One of our current projects is the “Tafeln” in Germany.
In Germany, tons of food is destroyed, even though it is still edible. Simultaneously, there are also people here in our country that do not have enough to eat. The “Tafeln” bridges the gap between abundance and deficit: It qualitatively collects food in good condition, which otherwise would land in the garbage and allocates it to the socially and economically disadvantaged – free-of-charge or for a symbolic amount.
At the moment there are over 800 “Tafeln” in Germany. All are non-profit organizations. Within Germany it regularly feeds approximately one million people in need - a quarter of which are children and teenagers.
The “Tafeln” finances itself with donations. Its Motto: “One gives what he can”. division one donates a portion of our revenue.
